Why should I become a Savvy member?
Savvy members receive the first and latest news about our exciting events and best deals. This means you’ll never miss out on your favorite designer or risk everything being sold out by the time you hear about a sale. As a member, you can also receive Savvy online credit by inviting your friends to become Savvy members too. You can use this credit at any of our online sales.
When do online Savvy sales start?
Online sales begin at 12PM Noon EST (9AM PST).
How long are online Savvy sales?
Online sales are only available for a limited time, generally 36 to 84 hours, but the exact length is dependent on the particular event.
How can I be notified about a Savvy online sale?
All Savvy members receive weekly email notifications about our sales as well as an email announcing the start of each sale. If you do not wish to receive notifications, simply click “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any notification email and you will be removed from the email list.
What is the difference between the Retail Price and Savvy Price?
The Retail Price is the price that the designer/brand normally sells the item for in retail stores. The Savvy Price is the greatly discounted price that the designer/brand offers to directly to Savvy customers without the cost of wholesalers or other middlemen.
Does Savvy charge sales tax?
We are required to charge sales tax when shipping merchandise to states where Savvy has a physical presence. Currently this is only in New York.
How do I purchase my order
Savvy accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. You can also always use your Savvy online credit for any online sale.
How can I review my order before I purchase it?
To review your order, click the shopping bag at the top left corner of any page. This will display all of the items that you have put on hold.
How can I change the quantity of an item?
To change the quantity of an item you have put on hold, simply highlight the number in the box labeled “QTY” and change it to the amount that you would like to purchase.
What is the availability of the merchandise?
As with any sample sale, there is a limited amount of each item available. When the “Sold Out” icon appears on the item that means that there is no inventory left in that item in any size. The best advice we can give you is to make your purchases as close to the opening of the event as possible.
Do I need to be a Savvy member to purchase from an online event?
No, you are not required to be a member to purchase anything at a Savvy sale. However, in order to guarantee that you don’t miss out on any fabulous events, we recommend you become a member to receive notifications and be the first to know about our amazing sales. After all, as with any sample sale, the best stuff always goes first.

How long are Savvy’s in-house sales?
Savvy’s in-house sales generally last 2 to 3 days but are dependent on the particular sale. Please check the Savvy website regularly for dates and times of all in-house events which are posted under the “In-House” tab on the main page.

Can I bring my handbag into the sale?
For security purposes, a common practice at all sample sales is to have every customer check their bag at coat check before entering the sale. Customers are only permitted to bring their wallet into the sale.
What is the return policy at in-house sales?
All in-house sales have a strict, no returns/no exchanges policy.
What payment methods are accepted at in-house sales?
Savvy sales accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. Savvy in-house sales do not accept cash.
Do you charge tax at in-house sales?
As per New York State and New York City law, tax rates at in-house sales are as follows: Taxable at 4.375%- All Apparel and Footwear priced above $110 Taxable at 8.375%- All Accessories (excluding Footwear) Not taxable- All Apparel and Footwear priced below $110 Currently, all of Savvy’s in-house events are held in New York City.
